The pandemic lockdown in our state of Tamil Nadu has been in effect since March 26th, 2020 and continues to this day. People are starving and poor because they are unable to work and earn money.

WEDS made the decision to help the poor communities in the surrounding villages. We prepare food packages and give them to people in need every day, or we give them rice bags.

We have so far distributed 1000 kilogrammes of rice to 100 families and 250 packages to 125 families.
